I have been working with Nick for the past 5 years and recommend him as a college counselor and English tutor with no reservation! Nick has helped me edit English and college application essays, guided me through the college application process, and has helped with job and internship applications. More than anything, I see Nick as a mentor and a friend. He is a counselor that truly wants his students to be successful and works very hard on his end to help students reach their goals and beyond. He has spent late nights working on my essays because I applied to far too many and spends time outside of our meetings looking for opportunities that I can join--he is always, always thinking about his students. During the college application process, Nick made sure I was on track and not behind. He thoughtfully spent time editing my essays and worked with me to brainstorm creative topics to write about. Even before the college application process began, we worked to craft a college list that worked best for my family and I; a list that had a balance of schools that were reaches and targets. Anytime I felt that I needed support or had any lingering questions, Nick was always ready to answer them and guide me. I truly can say that I would not have been so successful in high school if it was not for Nick! He made me feel confident in both me and academic abilities, and motivated me to create projects, network, and help others around my community. Nick is an amazing mentor who is truly passionate about his students and cares about their overall well-being. I have recommended Nick to many of my friends and will definitely continue to!
