Our Mission

We want every student to become their best selves: as students and as citizens. We help them develop into independent learners who can articulate their thoughts honestly but respectfully and advocate for themselves. This means taking responsibility for managing their time, exploring their interests, and finding those topics that motivate them to be their best. We believe that if we can find what engages and motivates our students, they’re all capable of excelling, in school and in life.

With the college admissions process becoming more competitive and more complicated, every student who wants to go to college—from the first-generation or international student to the third-generation college goer—can benefit from guidance.

Going through the law school application process ... January 2019, I realized how helpful [Nick’s] guidance was while applying to undergraduate programs just three years prior. ... Writing my law school personal statement, I asked myself the same questions [he] asked me ... These answers have kept me motivated through law school.

Our Philosophy

Education can be stressful and competitive. We provide guidance and support to help alleviate some of that stress while also equipping a student with tools that will enable them to be more successful than they could be on their own.

Students do best when given some say in the style and direction of their own education. As educators, we try to give students the flexibility to choose what to cover, and we come up with ways to practice the skills they’ll need to succeed in school, like cogent writing, in any context. We also want students to become more responsible for their education: learning to speak up when they do not understand, getting comfortable asking questions, and managing their schedules. These skills will be fundamental to their success later on in life.

In college admissions, this student-focused philosophy remains a throughline central to our advising practices. We will work with your student to identify qualities they want in a school and suggest schools for them to explore, but ultimately, your student has to live and study there for four years.

We focus on writing like few other consultant practices can, taking students through the entire essay writing process. We will help select essay topics that will be the best reflection of them, and we guide them through revision and editing until the essays have been submitted. We will work to ensure that the student’s essays are polished and leave a positive impression on an admissions committee.

We take a lot of pride in our students and their work, and we want to ensure that they are proud of what they submit. We hold every student essay to a standard: if it doesn’t impress us, then it won’t leave an impression on an admissions officer. We want every essay your student submits to shine as much as they do, and we will make sure to get it done.
